Overview / Project Aims:

We are a national organisation which locally runs a number of national and local contracts.
The Employment Zone is targeted on working with the unemployed of Middlesbrough, Redcar and East Cleveland to get them back into sustainable employment.(18-24 year olds, age 25+ and Lone Parents.) Our remit covers the long term unemployed (18 months +)and the unemployed in designated geographic areas of Middlesbrough.

We operate a number of N.E.E.T. & E2E programmes covering, in some cases, Tees Valley Wide caseloads. Working with young people aged between 14-24, alongside a number of operational partners including Enmdeavour Training, involved in the motivation & empowerment of the young with a view to preparing them for the the world of work as well as generally upskilling and inspiring young people to greater achievements in their life.

We are also a Learn Direct hub and currently have 3 centres offering the full LD remit in Thorntree (Corpus Christi Centre), Middlesbrough (Albert Road) & Redcar.
