Overview / Project Aims:

ENTRY TO EMPLOYMENT(e2e)

E2e aims to help 16-19 year olds get ready to start an Apprenticeship programme. This pre-apprenticeship programme includes delivery of:

- Basic/Key skills
- Vocational Preparation
- Personal and Social Development
- Job Search
- CV Writing
- Money Management
- IT skills
- Work tasters/Placements.

Learners can also gain NVQ Level 1 in a variety of subjects such as: Business Administration, Childcare, Motor Vehicle, Construction trades, Hospitality, Hair and Beauty.

Whilst on programme learners receive Educational Maintenance Allowance (EMA) payments - £30 per week and travel expenses.

APPRENTICESHIPS

Apprenticeships are available to 16-19 year olds and in some cases to those aged 19+ in:

- Horticulture
- Environmental Conservation
- Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG)
- Childcare(Level 3)
- Customer Service
- Management
- IT User
- Business Administration (Level 2 and 3) in partnership with Mouchel Training Centre

Apprentices receive at least £95 per week.
