Overview / Project Aims:

The main aim of the project is to eliminate transport as a barrier for those seeking employment, education and training opportunities in the specified areas of Middlesbrough.

The service can offer personalised travel advice service for people, helping to assess their individual travel needs. By encouraging clients to consider their travel options, it is hoped that transport will be eliminated as a barrier to them accessing opportunities across the town. Support will be offered throughout the scheme and there is a variety of information and incentives available to participants; including the possibility of discounted public transport, entry on to a cycle loan scheme and access to a lift share website.
